Diamond Contracting is a full design and build contracting company with over 25 years of experience. Whether it is a simple kitchen remodel or a full-scale home renovation, in-fill project, addition, or new build, we will take your project from concept to completion. Our goal is to provide our customers with exceptional craftsmanship, efficient project management, and a positive customer experience.

Diamond Contracting uses only certified trades people in your home for all your plumbing and electrical needs, and because we are a family owned business, our client relationships are built on referrals! We employ licensed tradespeople who have years of experience to ensure your project is treated with the utmost care. We are bonded & insured, as well as members of the BILD Edmonton Metro, and RenoMark program.

Diamond Contracting teamed up with Revolving Rooms Interior Design in 2008 to provide clients with a full start-to-finish design and renovation contracting. Revolving Rooms Interior Design is a full residential and commercial design company, providing services that range from drawings and renderings to consulting and even custom window treatments.

No matter the size of renovation, Diamond Contracting understands the importance of creating intentional & comfortable spaces without compromising beauty or function. We aim to design & build spaces for growing families, downsizing couples, developing companies, & everything in between!

Sheldon Ens, Owner & gc

Sheldon (aka "Bossman") is an owner & the president of Diamond Contracting, and has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. His expertise & knowledge of residential construction is indisputably some of the best in the industry. Sheldon started Diamond Contracting working as a finishing carpenter & cabinet installer. Over the years, he grew the business to include residential & commercial renovations, additions, & infill projects. Sheldon strives to create the very best client experience possible throughout every job by ensuring your project runs like a well-oiled machine. In 2008, Sheldon joined forces with Kendall, and they embarked on their journey to create a "all-in-one" experience for clients. A decade later, he is proud to say that this endeavour was a success.

On evenings & weekends, Sheldon can be found skiing on both the slopes & in the water, sledding as much as possible, and heading out on the open road with his Harley.

Kendall Judd, Owner & principal Designer

Kendall acquired a taste for the construction industry at an early age. Born into the family concrete business, she developed a passion for the Design- Build aspect of the industry. Kendall pursued her design & construction dream by graduating with Honours from N.A.I.T in the Interior Design Technology program in 2002.

In 2006 Kendall founded her design firm, Revolving Rooms Interior Design, and 2 years later, partnered with Sheldon of Diamond Contracting. Along with their team, they began tackling design-build projects together. The Dream Team was born!

Kendall has been an active member of BILD Edmonton Metro’s (formally CHBA) Renovation Committee for the last 10 years and has represented this committee for the past 6 years as the committee Co- Chair.

Nearing 25 years in the Design and Construction Industry, Kendall’s ability to and manage your project from start to finish is unmatched. Her knowledge of aesthetics, composition, and current trends are a huge asset to all of our projects. In her spare time, Kendall enjoys traveling, spa hoping and spending time with her family and friends. You can also find her in a Pilates studio or on the Volleyball court, multiple times a week!

marshall becker

Marshall is a 3rd year carpenter working hard towards his Red Seal. If you don’t see Marshall swinging a hammer, you will most likely catch him on the ice with his hockey team or out playing ball! He also enjoys camping and hanging out with friends and family, especially his son!

Danen Daniel

Danen is our production manager & flooring specialist. Collaborating with Chris, Danen communicates scheduling to our clients & team members. His is the manager of our flooring division & still does the occasional installation! Danen doesn't waste time (ever) & will ensure your project is running smooth as silk.

Brayden Derzaph

Brayden is a Red Seal carpenter with our team, and always smiling! (Literally always!) His attention to detail and excellent work ethic is easy to spot. Brayden picked the right profession and loves working on carpentry projects at home.

Lois Friesen

Lois is our bookkeeper. Efficient & organized, Lois keeps our office in order & works "behind the scenes" to ensure our business runs smoothly. Keen business savvy & attention to detail makes Lois a huge asset to the Diamond Contracting team. In her spare time, Lois enjoys travelling the world, spending time with her family and visiting her grandchildren!

Leighton Janzen

Leighton is one of our carpenters and brings fifteen years of carpentry experience but also twenty-plus years of construction experience to our team! Leighton loves volleyball, baseball, golf and the Oilers. His weekends are always packed up spending time with and coaching his 3 kiddos. Oh, and if you’re wondering if Leighton or Chris is taller…well…you’ll have to take it up with them!

LAURA LOCONTE

Laura is one of our project managers. She will start with you on the design and layout of your renovation and stick with you until the handover of your new space. Laura is a graduate of the NAIT Architectural Technologist program and loves being able to see the final outcome of all projects. When she's not at work, you can catch Laura travelling the world or running away to the mountains to do some much enjoyed hiking with her pups!

MARZENA MCKENZIE

Marzena is our executive director. She has been with the construction industry (on and off) for 18 years. She has recently moved back into the field after working primarily from home while raising her three kids. When she is not cheering on her kids at their sporting events you can find her volunteering her time for her community league, children’s school and their sports clubs.

CHris McLeod

Chris is our production & site manager. He joined the Diamond team back in 2007 & is irreplaceable. Chris communicates with the office staff, sub-trades, & our production team, keeping DC running like a well oiled machine. A dedicated father of two, Chris spends his free time watching all his kids sports and spending time with his family!

robert o’brien

Robert is one of our very talented finishing carpenters. After working more in the commercial scene, he transferred over to the residential side with us. (And he likes it better!) He just recently completed his Red Seal and is excited to get started on some fun new projects!

Myron van Dijk

As a project manager, Myron will work with you through every stage of your project—from initial planning and design to estimating, construction, and move-in day. He enjoys keeping homeowners informed and feeling confident throughout the process, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Outside of work, Myron stays active in the gym, on the golf course, and exploring trails by bike or on foot. He also follows F1 closely and never misses the race each weekend.
